We invite you to experience the beauty of the abundant wildlife, rolling hills, vast ranchlands and breathtaking sunsets of Big Sky Country on the Dinner Train and its unforgettable 56-mile round-trip that first began over 25 years ago.
Ride with us as we wind our way through the middle of Montana, traveling over three trestles and through the historic Hoosac Tunnel, all while surrounded by the mountains and prairies of Central Montana that so many have enjoyed over the years.
The Charlie Russell Chew Choo hosts two unique train experiences,
the Montana Dinner Train and the North Pole Adventure Train.
The train can also be chartered for special events.
The Montana Dinner Train is a four and one-half hour train ride that includes a full course prime rib dinner, live music and western entertainment. Tickets are available on eight general trains and three specialty trains runnning throughout the spring, summer and fall.
The North Pole Adventure Train is a one and one-half hour trip that includes Christmas stories, snacks and a trip to the North Pole. Tickets are available on fourteen trains during the holiday season.
All trains board at the Hanover Boarding Station, which is 10 miles and approximately 20-25 minutes from Main St, Lewistown. Please be sure to allow yourself plenty of driving time. Map to Boarding Station.
